Dan Organic has sorted and packed organic fruit and vegetables for Danish supermarkets and wholesalers for more than 18 years. About 1,000 tons carrots and 1,600 tons potatoes are exported by DanOrganic annually. They are primarily sent to Italy and Germany but also Norway and Sweden. The Italians place great importance on traceability all the way back to the individual field and that the border to non-organic fields is clear and screened with trees or bushes.
