Nepal is a country known for its extremely rich bio-diversity. Herbs from Nepal are known from ancient times. In the Himalayas, the world’s highest mountain range, one can find a rich reservoir of valuable medicinal and aromatic plants.
In these mountains approximately 7000 species of flowering and non flowering plants thrive, out of which around 1500 species of herbs have already been chemically tested to confirm the medicinal and healing properties.
