In the weekend of 31. August and 1. September, the German newspaper ”Die Welt” will bring a portrait of the organic Denmark.
The German newspaper will visit a number of organic spots in Copenhagen accompanied by the chairman of the organisation Organic Denmark, Per Kølster. The appendix will describe how the Danes have incorporated organic food in kindergartens, schools, canteens and even in the Danish specialty "hot dog stands" as well as in Michelin-restaurants. Together, all this has made Denmark the world leader in organic food.
Furthermore, the German readers will find articles concerning Danish organic farmers giving insight to the characteristics of the Danish organic production. For example, they can learn why the organic farmers have quiet hens that don't peck each other. And why the organic milk producers are looking as much forward to letting the cows out on the grass as they are to Christmas Eve.
