Our Ice Tea is made from roasted Yerba Mate leaves that are hand-picked in Brazil by Fairtrade certified farmers.

When they grow our Yerba Mate, they also plant trees so the Yerba Mate can grow in the shadow. This is why our Yerba Mate gets a sweeter taste compared to Yerba Mate which is grown directly in the sun, this gives a more bitter taste.

Yerba Mate gives you a natural energy boost as it contains natural caffeine.

The Guarani Indians in South America found the Yerba Mate plant back in the 16th century and started to drink the Mate tea. They discovered that the tea had a refreshing and energizing effect on the body, that is why they named the Mate tea “drink of the gods”
