REGOROS is a Food for Special Medical Purposes, with a standardized isoflavone-content, not a dietary supplement. This means that REGOROS is a medical nutritional product, specifically intended for women with osteopenia. REGOROS has documented effect specifically for this purpose.

Red clover contains the active plant substances, isoflavones. Isoflavones from fermented red clover can be used to support dietary preservation of bone mass, as it is a decrease in the body’s oestrogen production that makes women more susceptible to osteopenia before, during and after menopause. Osteopenia is not a disease as such but a deficiency condition.

Plant isoflavones can have a favourable ffect on this balance. It is not possible to adjust one’s diet so that it contains enough of the isoflavones biochanin A and formononetin, the two important isoflavones in red clover, as they are not generally found in other foods.

Patented manufacturing process 

Isoflavones are initially naturally bound to sugar. During the fermentation process, the sugar molecules are separated, allowing the isoflavones to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream. Herrens Mark holds a patent on this unique red clover fermentation process.
